Safe Communities. Strong Schools. Affordable Living.

Tennesseans want safe communities where families can thrive, schools that give every child a real chance, and an economy that doesn’t force hard-working families to choose between housing, healthcare, and daily needs. Mark Proctor is fighting to make that vision a reality.

We’re grateful for your contribution!

Our Campaign's Top Issues

Affordable Living

We need practical solutions that lower costs for working families-expanding access to affordable housing, bringing down healthcare and prescription drug costs, and investing in strong public schools so families aren’t stretched thin.

Strong Public Schools

I oppose efforts to divert funding away from public schools. They are the foundation of our communities and serve the vast majority of Tennessee families

Public Safety & Gun Safety

I support consistent permitting requirements with meaningful training and vetting, safe storage education, and Extreme Risk Protection Orders that allow courts to temporarily remove firearms from individuals who pose a danger to themselves or others, with strong due process protections.

Women’s Healthcare

I trust women and families to make their own healthcare decisions. Politicians should not be inserting themselves into deeply personal choices.

Equality & Fairness

I will always oppose efforts to divide people or take rights away. We should be bringing people together, not pushing them apart.

Immigration & ICE

Local law enforcement should be focused on public safety, not used in ways that erode trust between officers and the communities they serve.

Accountable, Common-Sense Leadership

People are tired of politicians who say one thing and do another. I’ll be clear about where I stand and I will be focused on getting real results.

Support for Small Businesses & Local Economy

I’ll support practical policies that help businesses grow, create jobs, and keep our local economy strong.

Community-Focused Leadership

This job is about showing up. Listening. Being accessible.

“Mark Proctor is the right person to continue representing our community. He has the experience and character needed to serve this district well. I’m confident he will put people over politics and work every day to deliver real results for the families of District 59.”

Rep. Caleb Hemmer

Mayor Megan Barry

"Nashville needs Representatives in the state Capitol who will cut through the noise and deliver real solutions on the issues that matter: protecting access to healthcare, preventing gun violence, and tackling the opioid crisis.

Mark Proctor is that leader. He's built a small business and served in law enforcement, so he's used to being held accountable for outcomes, not headlines. I'm proud to support Mark, and I hope you will too."

Mayor Megan Barry

Rep. Vincent Dixie

“District 59 needs a Democrat who can both stand up for our values and win in November and that’s Mark Proctor. This seat matters, and keeping District 59 in Democratic hands is critical to protecting working families and building a safer Tennessee.

Mark brings the kind of credibility and broad appeal it takes to win a tough general election. I’m proud to support Mark Proctor and confident he’s the right person to carry this district forward.”

Rep. Vincent Dixie

Rachael Anne Elrod, MNPS School Board District 2

“As an elected school board member, I know how critical it is that our public schools have the resources they need to support every student. That’s why I’m supporting Mark Proctor. He understands that MNPS deserves its fair share of funding from the state so Davidson County students can thrive.

Mark has two daughters in Metro Nashville Public Schools. He is committed to standing up for public education and fighting to make sure the state is a real partner in supporting our schools, educators, and families. I’m proud to endorse Mark Proctor and confident he’ll be a strong advocate for our students in the State House.”

"As a proud public school graduate from a family that has served MNPS for generations, I believe in strong public education and steady leadership. Mark Proctor shares that commitment. As a public school parent, he knows supporting families means investing in our schools and the neighborhoods they anchor.

His candidacy also represents something long overdue. LGBTQ Tennesseans deserve to see themselves reflected in leadership, especially at a time when many families feel targeted in policy debates. Mark will bring lived experience and principled leadership to the General Assembly.

I'm proud to endorse Mark Proctor for House District 59 because he will protect public education and stand up for all Tennessee families."

"Creating great schools starts with strong leaders, well-supported teachers, and systems that work for students. During my time on the Metro Nashville School Board, I've focused on setting clear goals, investing strategically, and ensuring schools have the resources to recruit and retain high-quality educators and staff.

Mark Proctor shares that commitment to thoughtful leadership and real results. He understands that suppoting families means investing in public education and focusing on the challenges our students face - from early literacy and middle grades math to mental health and college and career readiness. I'm proud to endorse Mark for House District 59 because he will be a strong, solutions orientated advocate for Nashville's students and families at the state level. "
